It appears the President may have been justified in signing that Executive Order on Big Tech on Thursday.
Apparently Twitter's community standards are far more restrictive for Christians, Conservatives and Republicans such as President Trump than they are for Progressives, Athiests, Democrats and social justice warriors, including those George Floyd rioters. While they claim to be acting "in the interest of preventing others from being inspired to commit violent acts" what they are really trying to do is provide a safe space for those who are in fact committing those violent acts, the George Floyd rioters here in the U.S. and dictators in other countries like Iran who are seeking to kill their political opponents.
When people loot your business, they need to be shot, plain and simple. Anyone saying otherwise is a stupid dumbass and Jack Dorsey is a stupid dumbass as well as everyone working at Twitter.
This DOES NOT look to me like an impartial social media platform. This looks more like an arbitrary publisher. What Twitter is doing here is violating a promise that they made to be an impartial social media platform in order to be given the Section 230 exemptions.
Unfortunately there are way too many jackals in Congress who are in the pockets of these big tech firms. It is going to take a lot of pressure from constituents, including lighting up those D.C. phone lines and reminding these sorry bastards who really is the boss around here (the taxpayers NOT the politicians) and that it is indeed time to repeal Section 230 and put these sorry good for nothings (Twitter, Facebook Google, etc) out of business.
Otherwise, America is dead and way beyond recovery.
I have said it before and I will say it again. It's time to seize the domains for the Big Tech outfits and keep them seized until they start showing a willingness to act as public utilities.
