Just in case you are wondering why there is so much distrust in the Oklahoma Britton/Kelly/Tulsa media cabal these days all one has to do is look at the sloppy way they covered this story.
First off the announcer was recovering from a major stroke and is not in the very best of health right now. He's 80 years old. However he is very well known to the community. If you would take the time to listen very carefully to the tape, he meant to say "difficult" NOT "disgusting".
I think it may be time for the idiot journalists who write this pablum to take a few moments to go and clean out all the dirt from their ears so they can hear things more carefully and while they're at it, maybe learn to cover news stories better.
As to the school system, I think it may also be time to throw the bums running it out of town and see if they can find much better people than these.
Things like this go on in towns across Oklahoma. As they say, all politics is local.
